Miss India Universe 2004 ,Tanushree Dutta was born on 19 March 1984 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand/Bihar. Her Father's name is Tappan, who works for the Life Insurance Corporation of India. Tanushree comes from a conservative Hindu Bengali family.She did schooling in Jamshedpur and graduated from the Pune University.She was employed with Oracle Institute for 3 months in event management and market research and report marketing, including the ability to ramp, print campaign, videos and advertising.
This charming and tall (5'7 ") actress, Tanushree Dutta, won the Femina Miss India 2004 contest in held in Mumbai, and placed in the top ten in the Miss Universe pageant in 2004, Quito, Ecuador. The success eluded her as she not to managed the last group of participants. She was not discouraged by failures, but persisted and finally dark Tanushree not only by themselves eligible for the competition but was crowned Miss India, replacing Nikita Anand, at Bandra Kurla complex on the March 27, 2004 . She also own Miss Confident and Miss Beautiful Smile.
Since winning the Miss India Contest in 2004, Tanushree Dutta’s career has not turned back. Film after film madeher mark in Bollywood. With six films on her resume in less than 3 years and 7 other films in the coming months. In 2005 the government of Jharkhand has been honored with the publication of postcards and stamps featuring her.It could not get any better than this.
